Child and Youth Care (CYC)

I am a graduate of Humber College. I attained my Bachelors in Child and Youth Care. I was inspired to pursue this program because I love working with children and youth to empower them and help build skills in them that they can use throughout their lives. I also grew up in a home where both my parents are therapists, I have observed, trained and participated in many of their seminars and workshops. I am thrilled and excited to work alongside them now. My aim is to help children and youth develop healthy life skills such as self-esteem, confidence, communication skills, conflict management, boundaries, healthy relationships, etc.

I have years of experience developing and running programs enabling safe spaces for open communication, honesty, and empowerment. I use creative skills such as music, dance, art, games as well as therapeutic models such to engage my clients either individually or in group settings. I am culturally sensitive, youth orientated and empowerment focused in my work. When not working, you will find me creating and recording content for my podcast.I look forward to meeting you.
