Samantha Campbell

MA in Counselling Psychology, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I have a passion to help people heal, and I want to offer clients more than just counselling. I offer psychotherapeutic services for individuals, children, teens, emerging adults, and new immigrants. My therapy approach is not a traditional one, but an approach that is creative using different skills and tools for therapy to make sense and give meaning to your journey. I will specifically use practice modalities such as; Art and Music therapy, DBT, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), along with other modalities to help you.

I approach therapy with a non-judgmental stance. I believe that clients understand their experience better, so by expressing their situation I will listen and provide helpful guidelines to change around your situation for the better. My passion is working with a multicultural clientele, with a focus on immigration stress, school stress and mental health. My experience lends itself to working with ethnic minorities, and those affected by violence and racism.

I also have an interest in working with those struggling with grief, anxiety and mood disorders, life transitions, crisis intervention support and family intervention support. I have always had a passion to work with individuals with Mental Illness and Disabilities. My own experience of mental illness, has positioned me to better relate to my clients. I like to advocate and eradicate the stigma around mental illness.
